From Employee to Entrepreneur: I scaled my coaching practice to $100k BEFORE leaving my corporate job, with 3 boys in multiple sports. So many women think a job or kids are an excuse why they can't hit their business goals. I'd like to share a different perspective on this. Because everything is possible.
Money Talks - Women avoid debt, while men continue leveraging it to scale their businesses. I'm in the US, and here, only 2% of VC funding goes to women, while 14.8% of women are raped. This means that women are 7x more likely to be raped that to receive VC funding. And studies show that fewer women even apply for business loans than men (27% compared to 73% in the US). On top of that, when women do apply they receive about 65% of what men receive. Let's discuss WHY women are avoiding debt - their perceptions and the history of women getting funding all contribute to this.
